Patrick Quigley
Chief Executive Officer

Patrick Quigley has more than 15 years experience in sales, marketing, product management, and engineering with both public and private companies. Prior to joining, Patrick was Senior Vice President at QuinStreet, Inc. (NASDAQ: QNST) where he led one of the company’s business units and was part of the management team that completed the company’s initial public offering. Patrick also held marketing and sales executive leadership positions at BEA Systems (NASDAQ: BEAS – acquired by Oracle Corporation) that culminated in his role as Vice President of Strategic Sales and Operations. Previously, Patrick was a consultant at McKinsey & Company where he helped launch the consulting firm’s Branding Practice.

Patrick holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his B.S. in engineering from Duke University.

Patrick Cross
Chief Operating Officer

Patrick Cross has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and operations and more than 12 years of experience building online businesses. In his current role at, Patrick Cross is responsible for leading the paid media and vertical marketing teams. Prior to, Patrick managed several technology business-to-business verticals for QuinStreet, Inc. (NASDAQ: QNST). He also founded AdQuants, a search marketing intelligence and lead generation company. Patrick began his post-graduate career at McKinsey & Company where he was part of the Business Building Practice, assisting numerous clients launch new online business ventures.

Patrick holds a J.D. and MBA from the University of Chicago. He received his B.A. in history from the University of California San Diego.

Geoff Golliher
Vice President of Technology
Geoff Golliher has more than 15 years of experience in engineering, building complex distributed systems, and establishing successful engineering teams. He currently leads the technology team at Prior to, Geoff was an engineering director at ZEFR, and spent nearly a decade as an engineer at Google, working mainly in ads and infrastructure.
Betsy Niksefat
Vice President of Finance and HR

Betsy Niksefat has 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, and operations and more than 7 years of experience in online media businesses. In her current role at, Betsy is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting, finance, and human resource functions. Prior to her leadership role at, Betsy held several positions at that culminated in her role as Corporate Controller. Betsy began her post-graduate career at the accountancy of Deloitte & Touche where she served in the firm’s assurance practice.

Betsy holds a Master of Accounting from the University of Southern California and a B.S. in economics from Vanderbilt University.

Chris Yip
Vice President of Partnerships

Chris Yip has more than 15 years of experience in growing, and maintaining successful publisher businesses, and was a leader in creating the education lead generation space. He currently oversees business development for Prior to joining, Chris was with QuinStreet, Inc. (NASDAQ: QNST) since 2000, where he started as a business development representative. He quickly worked his way up to Senior Manager, and then to Director of Business Development. In this role, he ran one of the country’s most profitable education publisher businesses, and was responsible for some of QuinStreet’s largest partnerships and acquisitions.

Chris holds a B.S. in Business – Management Information Systems from San Jose State University.

Kevin Lyon
Legal Affairs

Kevin Lyon is Corporate Counsel, with responsibility for the legal affairs concerning all aspects of Kevin has more than 10 years of experience working with emerging technologies within industries such as entertainment and advertising. Prior to joining, Kevin was with ValueClick, Inc. (now part of Epsilon and Alliance Data), where he oversaw the legal operations of its display and video ad network, ValueClick Media, as well as its ad tech division, Mediaplex, Inc.

Kevin holds a J.D. from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University.

Veronica Osetinsky
Marketing Operations

Veronica Osetinsky has more than 6 years of experience in marketing and business operations of online technology and other online businesses, and 8 years of experience in structured finance. In her current role at, Veronica is responsible for the day to day marketing and operations of the business where she looks for creative ways to optimize business levers while improving consumer experience. She also manages implementations and product efforts relating to Prior to, Veronica held positions in marketing and business analytics in the B2B technology vertical at QuinStreet. Before her role at QuinStreet, she managed a $2 billion portfolio of structured products.

Veronica holds a B.A. in economics from the University of California Berkeley.

Melissa Rosno
Account Management

Melissa Rosno has more than 18 years of experience in marketing, and 15 years of experience in lead generation and direct response experience, with a focus in insurance and financial services. In her current role at, Melissa oversees the account management team, while managing key advertiser relationships and working in partnership with carriers and agencies to create marketing strategy and maximize ROI. Melissa also works with the internal product team to recommend product enhancements based on advertiser and account management feedback. Prior to her role at, Melissa was VP of Marketing at a lead generation and direct marketing consulting firm where she directly managed multi-million dollar advertising budgets for insurance and financial services companies. Before that, she worked with national accounts in the automotive, insurance, retail, and food and beverage industries at a direct marketing agency, and was also a managing partner at a web design and application development firm.

Melissa holds a B.A. in Radio, Television and Film with a concentration in Business from California State University, Long Beach.

Ben Levy
Sales Management

Ben Levy has more than 15 years of experience in sales, marketing and leadership having been part of early ventures in internet lead generation. Today, Ben leads the sales team at Early in his career he researched the internet’s effect on buyer behavior for Volkswagen AG in Germany before transitioning into online advertising with, an early innovator in mortgage lead generation later acquired by More recently he owned and sold Young Money, a publishing network before joining Double Positive to lead business development.

Ben holds a B.S. and an MBA from the Smith School at University of Maryland.

Bill Hanis
Carrier Relations

Bill Hanis has more than 20 years of experience in health insurance, health care, ecommerce and web technologies. In his current role at, Bill leads the carrier relations function to ensure a wide variety of health insurance products are available to customers. The carrier relations role includes establishing and contracting for new carrier relationships, managing existing carriers and acting as the primary external representative to carriers and business partners. Prior to his role at, Bill was VP of Carrier Relations at an online health insurance brokerage where he had responsibility for developing and maintaining strategic carrier partnerships as well as sales and marketing for the firm’s ecommerce technology offering. Before that, he worked in consulting, focusing on the health insurance industry and was responsible for client relations, project and program management and achieving overall client satisfaction.

Bill holds a B.A. in Finance from Michigan State University.

Liz Deranja
Corporate Marketing and Public Relations

Liz Deranja has more than five years experience in marketing, sales, and editorial capacities. In her current role, Liz oversees all of marketing and PR efforts. Prior to her role in corporate marketing, Liz worked as an editor for, where she prepared content for strategic partnerships. Prior to, Liz directed the sales and marketing of higher education materials in a metro Los Angeles territory for John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Liz started her post-graduate career at Preferred Global Health, a global provider of critical illness management programs, where she held marketing, sales, and relationship management positions.

Liz received her B.A. in journalism with a minor in leadership studies from the University of Rhode Island.

Dan Mackeigan
Board Member

Dan MacKeigan is a founding partner at Spring Lake Equity Partners. Prior to Spring Lake, he was Principal at Tudor Ventures where he focused on opportunities in the wireless, media and internet sectors. Dan has also led investments in Wimba (acquired by Blackboard, Inc. – NASDAQ BBBB), Turbine (acquired by Time Warner’s Warner Brothers Home Entertainment Group – NYSE TWX), N2 Broadband (acquired by Tandberg – NASDAQ ERIC), Shoebuy (acquired by IAC/InterActiveCorp – NASDAQ IACI), and Wavelink (acquired in leveraged buyout). In addition to serving as a member of the Board for, Dan is also currently on the board for Vantrix, and ArcSoft. Prior to Tudor, Dan was a Vice President and Senior Equity Research Analyst with Friedman, Billings, Ramsey, a Northern Virginia-based firm where he worked with leading public and private technology companies.

Dan holds a B.S. in biology from Trinity College.

James Montgomery
Board Member

James Montgomery founded leading investment bank Montgomery & Co in 1986 and serves as Chief Executive Officer, He also serves as chief Executive Officer of Digital Coast Ventures LLC, an affiliated investment vehicle, and was a Founder of venture capital firm Palomar Ventures.

A recognized expert in high technology industries and markets, James has advised leading global, media, communications and technology companies in industry consolidation, new market entry, divestitures, strategic alliances and capital formation. In addition to serving as a member of the Board for, James has also been a seed investor in a range of successful software, technology, biotechnology and communications companies.

James holds a B.A. from the University of California, San Diego. He received his master’s degree in economics from Cambridge University.

Rory O’Driscoll
Board Member

Rory has been a venture capital investor since 1993. As Managing Director of Scale Venture Partners, Rory invests in mobile, Internet, and enterprise software companies. Some of his successful investments include IPOs such as Omniture (Nasdaq, acquired by Adobe for $1.8B), Connect, NetGenesis and acquisitions including ScanSafe (acquired by Cisco), Frontbridge (acquired by Microsoft), Zone Labs (acquired by Checkpoint), Placeware, (acquired by Microsoft), OuterBay (acquired by HP) and others.

In addition to, Rory sits on the boards of Arena Solutions,, DocuSign, ExactTarget, Hubspan, Innovion, Livescribe, and Lumension Security.

Rory holds a BSc from the London School of Economics.
